The Good News reveals Jesus to be the Christ, or the one appointed by God. He is the head of the church, as her Savior (Ephesians 1). Jesus is the perfect representation of God, the eternal expression of his heart, so the ultimate Word of God. (Hebrews 1, Colossians 1, John 1

The word ‘church’ is used in the Bible to refer to the totality of those whom Jesus has brought back into life-giving fellowship with God. The church, overall, was created by the achievement known as the Gospel: the life, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus. 

The Bible also uses the word to refer to a local fellowship of Jesus' church. Because of him, our congregation is one of them. The church has been the Lord's people since ancient times.

Our fellowship believes the Bible is a relevant message from God which is understandable and applicable for us. So we recognize in it God's authority. (2nd Peter 1) We look to it to help us grow in unity with our Head, Jesus. Because of the faithfulness of the scriptures, the community of Jesus' believers collected and shared them so we can all see God's word together.

The fellowship of churches of Christ that we most associate with is undenomenational, meaning we don't have a creed, council, or convention to adhere to.  We strive to foster and preserve the unity of Christ's body with him rather than to emphasize differences between ourselves and others. This developed from studying the scriptures that show the importance of unity among those who trust in Jesus. (John 17, Ephesians 4)

Because of God's love for the world, the people of Christ are on earth to: 

- proclaim who and what He is, 

- join Him in revealing the ultimate truth, 

- help the world be reconciled to God in Him (2 Cor. 5),

- help one another mature uniquely in the way of the kingdom of God. 

We get to be a temple in which the Holy Spirit may reside in this world! Though we have been translated into the kingdom of light (Colossians 1) we live in the world as ambassadors of that realm who help everyone else hear the good news.

Though we enjoy and support the fellowship worldwide, we are congregationally led.  Under Jesus and in prayer, we are cared for by:

- Shepherding Elders and service leaders (1 Timothy 3) 

- mission leaders, those who disseminate the good news, those who help us understand God's will and ways, (Ephesians 4)

- those who organize, and many other kinds of help. (1 Peter 4)

Jesus calls on all participants who reconcile with God in him to grow in acting like Jesus in their unique ways (Matthew 28). 

They become incorporated members in his body, providing unique, vital service and influence in the fellowship. (Ephesians 4).

We understand that every member is able to provide helpful ministry to others in the name of Jesus (1 Peter 2). 

We help one another to develop the ability and heart to love the Lord and others in real ways (Luke 10, 1 John 3).

We invite everyone to gather in various ways. (Hebrews 10) We gather for many reasons, including these:

Encouragement, Learning, Coordination, Worship, Sharing in Jesus, Support, and Fun!

Everyone participates in giving and receiving all of these blessings as enabled by the Lord.
